Due to an overwhelming increase in 'non family friendly' postings on the Shawn Hornbeck message board, it has been decided to remove it from this site. We have tried to watch and monitor the site, and have removed postings as quickly as possible that were causing more harm than good. It is very sad that there are people out there that are only out there trying to 'find any flaw they can' and exploit it, even if the information is NOT TRUE. The family has spent all of their savings, and most of their waking days to search for Shawn and bring him home.
The family is now doing all that they can to be 'out' of the spotlight so they can focus their attention on Shawn and his recovery. One day, we hope not long from now, Shawn and the family can tell their side of the story and when they do, those who have criticized them will realize that this is truly an amazing family that never asked for any of this to happen and have created a wonderful organization that has helped numerous families with missing loved ones, not because they had to...but because they wanted to and not asking for anything in return!
