Shawn, we have never met, but you and your family have been in my prayers for years. I'm sure I speak for many, when I say I was so proud to see you speak on behalf of hope and the strength of the love a family has for a son the other day in response to the girls in Ohio. I can not imagine how you have gotten past those awful years,but seeing you so strong and calm the other day on tv helped us all. I admire your determination to stay out of the public eye to heal, but know that we all just want a peek now and then to know that you are doing well. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Hello dear Shawn ;) I read about the the terrible things that have happened in the usa, i get so mad but at the same time incredibly happy that they were alive. 've read a little about you too, I get goosebumps reading such cases, is not so much of it here in Norway. Hope it goes well with you, your family is there for you, it's so good to see :) but you should know that here in Norway so we support you, we cry tears of joy for you. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU, DEAR AMERICANS :)

I'm one of countless people who have truly been inspired by Shawn. From the day I saw him freed on the news, he has been in my prayers. I will never forget his face or story. He has taught us alot and any insight he has given us to help protect our own children as best as we can, is truly amazing, the fact that he has lived to tell is an insight no schooling can teach. I want to say I hope he doesn't let the negative of some people bring him down. It angers me when I read or hear people judge him, i can't amagine how your parents feel. Shawn you are an amazing (and very handsom) young man,that has a very bright light around you. When I see or hear you speak and how far you've come, it truly overwhelms me. You fill my heart with joy and I don't even know you. I hope all the love and happiness this world has to offer, to you and your family. Thank you Shawn for being the voice for many who can not speak. A true miracle.
